An 11-day Char Dham Yatra from Delhi is a focused and spiritually rewarding journey through the Garhwal Himalayas. This timeframe allows for a complete circuit following the traditional clockwise sequence: Yamunotri → Gangotri → Kedarnath → Badrinath.

11-Day Itinerary Overview

Day Route Highlights & Activity

1 Delhi to Haridwar Morning drive (6-7 hrs). Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

2 Haridwar to Barkot Scenic drive (7-8 hrs) via Mussoorie and Kempty Falls.

3 Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot Drive to Janki Chatti; 6km trek to Yamunotri Temple; Return to Barkot.

4 Barkot to Uttarkashi Relaxed drive (4-5 hrs). Visit Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi.

5 Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi Drive along Bhagirathi river; Darshan at Gangotri; Return to Uttarkashi.

6 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi Long mountain drive (8-9 hrs). See the Mandakini river en route.

7 Guptkashi to Kedarnath Drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund; 16-18km trek to Kedarnath; Overnight at Kedarnath.

8 Kedarnath to Guptkashi Morning Darshan; Trek back to Gaurikund; Return drive to Guptkashi.

9 Guptkashi to Badrinath Drive (7-8 hrs) via Joshimath. Evening Darshan and Aarti at Badrinath.

10 Badrinath to Rishikesh Drive (9-10 hrs) via Rudraprayag and Devprayag (confluence of rivers).

11 Rishikesh to Delhi Visit Laxman Jhula/Ram Jhula; Afternoon drive back to Delhi (6 hrs).
